The Bostalsee is located in the middle of the lavish green of the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park. With 120 hectares of water, the largest recreational lake in southwest Germany offers a wide range of activities such as swimming, surfing, sailing, fishing, scuba diving and boating. Two large sandy beaches and spacious sunbathing lawns invite you to sunbathe, build a sandcastle or play beach volleyball. If you prefer a leisurely boat trip on Lake Bostal, you can do so on the solar-powered catamaran "Sankt Wendeler Land".
An approx. 7 km long loop trail leads around the lake, offering wonderful views for cyclists and hikers. The lakeside boardwalk on the Bosener shore also invites you to stroll and linger in close proximity to the water.
In winter, the new, defined natural ice surface can be used for ice skating in frosty temperatures on around 2,600 square metres. Relax in this unspoilt landscape all year round on the 14 hectare, 5-star campsite with every imaginable comfort.
