Wolfsberg: Paurisches Haus
Das Paurische Haus wurde im 13. Jahrhundert errichtet und im 16. Jahrhundert von den Bamberger Bischöfen übernommen.
Unterschiedliche Besitzer bewohnten über die Jahrhunderte hinweg das Haus, aber der heutige Name stammt von Franz Pauer, einem Pächter auf Bayerhofen aus dem späten 18. Jahrhundert. Auch dieses Haus befand sich einmal im Besitz der Familie Henckel-Donnersmarck. Ab den 1950ern wohnte hier die Familie Schüßler.
Der bekannte Künstler Karl Schüßler und befreundete Kollegen wie Giselbert Hoke fanden hier eine ideale Schaffensstätte. In der Stadt gibt es einen Rundweg "Karl Schüßler - Kunst". Walk and Bike". Bald nach seinem Tod 2010 wurde das Paurische Haus an eine von Wolfsberg abstammende Bäckerdynastie in Tirol verkauft.
