Dom na Komni
De hut staat aan de zuidoostelijke rand van het Komna-plateau, hoog boven de vallei van Bohinj. Hij werd gebouwd door de Sloveense Alpenvereniging in 1936. The Koča na Gozdu is located on the road to the Vršič mountain pass. It is about 8 km from Kranjska Gora, so it is suitable for accommodation when visiting Kranjska Gora.
It is very suitable for a school or kindergarten in nature as well as for families and individual guests. In 2013 we were awarded the title of Family-Friendly Hut, awarded by the Mountaineering Association of Slovenia.

The hut has 54 beds available. It has a large dining area, also intended for other activities, such as various workshops, lectures, etc.
At Koča na Gozdu we serve you home-made Slovenian dishes such as štruklji, Gorenjska carp, spoon dishes, blueberry strudel, etc., excellently prepared game - deer roast and deer goulash, in short, we have a varied culinary offer.
Around the hut there are grassy areas suitable for sports activities and lectures in the fresh air. We are happy to welcome children from kindergartens and schools in the nature school and various mountain groups who enjoy mountain camps and mountain trails. Koča na Gozdu is surrounded by greenery, stands in the whisper of larches and is bathed in sunlight. We are located in the center of Triglav National Park and are the starting point for most peaks in the Julian Alps.
From the terrace, visitors can admire the enchanting view of the image of Špik, Frdaman Polic and Prisank, in whose walls are hidden natural wonders, such as Prisojnik's Window, through which the sun sometimes shines, and the rock monolith of the Ajdovska deklica, whose legend still circulates among people today.
We are about a kilometer away from the Russian Chapel - a famous piece of history on Vršiška cesta. You are cordially invited to visit us and share with us the beauties of natural and cultural heritage.

The Planika Hut in Triglav (Slovene: Dom Planika pod Triglavom; 2401 m) is a mountain hut in the Ledine Plain on the south side of Mount Triglav. The first hut, also called Triglav Tempe (Triglavski tempelj), was built on September 18, 1871. In 1877, the Austrian-German Hiking Association built a hut, the Maria Theresa Hut. Another building, the Maria Theresa Hut (Dom Marije Terezije), was added on August 13, 1911.
