The Planika Hut in Triglav (Slovene: Dom Planika pod Triglavom; 2401 m) is a mountain hut in the Ledine Plain on the south side of Mount Triglav. The first hut, also called Triglav Tempe (Triglavski tempelj), was built on September 18, 1871. In 1877, the Austrian-German Hiking Association built a hut, the Maria Theresa Hut. Another building, the Maria Theresa Hut (Dom Marije Terezije), was added on August 13, 1911.
After the First World War, the Slovenian Hiking Association took over the hut and renamed it Aleksander Hut (Aleksandrov dom). For a time, the hut was renamed the Karaula Border Garrison. In 1945, the Gorje Hiking Association (PD Gorje) renamed the hut Planika Hut in Triglav. In 1987, Karaula was demolished, and a larger extension was built on August 19, 1992.
