The Short and Sweet: Culture and Lakes program is exactly what it sounds like: it is designed as an active short vacation that will bring you closer to the cultural heritage of the Julian Alps, together with the enchanting beauty of the surrounding nature. If you have only a few days to explore a part of the Julian Alps, and you want to spend that time discovering Slovenian national music, a small medieval town with its delicious local cuisine, and admiring two of the most famous lakes in Slovenia, then this program is made for you. The programme is designed in such a way that you can walk the trail on your own, without a guide. The trail is very well marked, with the Juliana Trail signs on the ground and the surrounding walls and with small sign boards.
