The Rifugio Torino is currently (as of September 2015) undergoing renovations. It is very easy to reach via the cable car station at Pointe Heilbronner. You can reach the station via the new cable car from Courmayeur (on the Italian side) or from Chamonix via the Aiguille du Midi and the Panoramic Cable Car. From Pointe Heilbronner, take the lift all the way down and walk through a tunnel to reach the hut’s terrace.
