The crossing of the Aiguille de Marbrees is an ideal acclimatization route right next to the Torino hut and can also be done well in the afternoon or in uncertain weather conditions. The difficulty of the ridge climbing never exceeds grade III.

    Roadbook

The Aiguilles de Marbrées is located between Col du Geant and Col du Rochefort and consists of two main peaks: a north and a south summit. From the Torino hut, you head right towards Dent du Geant over the glacier to Col du Rochefort, where the ridge begins shortly before. At first, you follow it over easy block terrain, later in easy climbing (never above grade III) to the north summit. From there, you descend a few meters to the south ridge and then follow it further in beautiful climbing to the south summit. There is a rappel station there (1x 30m).
