Die Naturgewalten haben an unserer exponierten Hütte genagt, Windgeschwindigkeiten bis 180Km/h, Eis und Schneeverwehungen bis zum Dach haben ihre Spuren hinterlassen.
Nun stehen wir vor der Herausforderung, einen Ersatzbau zu stemmen, funktional und nachhaltig, denn, wer hier oben war, weiß, warum wir diesen Platz erhalten müssen.
Der überwiegende Teil der Finanzierung steht, aber 200.000 € Euro fehlen noch, damit die Reichenstein-Hütte 3.0 Wirklichkeit wird.

The shortest approach to the Reichensteinhütte leads over the Rösselhals along the Theklasteig to the hut below the Eisenerzer Reichenstein.
A somewhat longer approach than the normal route from Präbichl, but also less frequently used.
