Refugio situado a 2.135 metros de altitud con 60 plazas de dormitorio y servicio de comida y bebida (media pensión o pensión completa), WC y duchas. Cuando el refugio no está guardado, se puede acceder a la parte libre, con 14 plazas y equipada con colchones, mantas y radio de emergencia (sin calefacción).
Para pernoctar en el refugio es recomendable reservar previamente. El acceso a pie se hace en 2 horas desde el parking de Banhs de Tredòs o en 40 minutos desde la parada de taxis.
El Refugi Colomèrs forma parte de la ruta “Carros de Foc”, la popular travesía de montaña circular que une los nueve refugios del parque natural.
