Willkommen auf der Kaunergrathütte auf 2817 m Höhe in den Ötztaler Alpen, hoch über dem Pitztal.
Die 1903 errichtete Hütte wurde in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten mehrfach um- und ausgebaut. Seit 1927 ist sie ein bekannter und beliebter Ausbildungsstützpunkt. Seit 2003 gehört sie der Sektion Mainz des Deutschen Alpenvereins, die die Bergsteigerunterkunft grundlegend saniert hat.
Die Hütte ist von Mitte Juni bis Mitte September geöffnet.
Außerhalb der Saison bietet der Winterraum im Nebengebäude eine Notunterkunft.
