Sie ist nicht nur idealer Stützpunkt für Skihochtouren von März bis Mai und Etappenziel der klassischen "Skiroute Hoch Tirol", sondern auch zentraler Ausgangspunkt für sämtliche Übergänge und Hüttenwanderungen im Venedigergebiet. Für ihre vorbildliche umweltverträgliche Bewirtschaftung erhielt sie 2007 das Alpenvereins-Umweltgütesiegel. Kinder sind auf der familienfreundlichen Hütte herzlich willkommen!
