Public transport
The Buchenbergalm cannot be reached by public transport.Alternatively, you can use the Buchenbergbahn chairlift. There are regular train services to Füssen from the mainline stations in Ulm, Augsburg and Munich.
From Füssen station, take bus route 73 to Buching, alighting at the “Buching Sesselbahn” stop.
From Hopfen am See to the starting point: take bus route 56 to Füssen (bus and train station), then change to bus route 73 to Buching, alighting at the “Buching Sesselbahn” stop.
From Weißensee to the starting point, take bus route 71 to Füssen (bus and train station), then change to bus route 73 to Buching, getting off at the ‘Buching Sesselbahn’ stop.
