Eine Schutzhütte des Alpenverein Austria
Die Adamekhütte auf 2.196 - unter Insidern der "Bahnhof der Alpen" genannt besticht durch seine einzigartige Lage am Dachsteingletscher. Einst umschlossen vom Gletscher, heute der Treffpunkt für Alpinisten, Wanderer, Kletterer oder Gruppen.
In wenigen Minuten erreich man das Gletschervorfeld, wo in den letzten Jahren ein Gletscherlehrpfad eingerichtet worden ist. Mittlerweile eine Gehstunde entfernt, gelangt man auf die ersten Gletscherzungen des Dachsteingletschers, welche vom tosenden Schmelzwasser stetig begleitet werden.
Freunde des Alpinen Erlebnisses können sich im Klettergarten Schreiberwand oder den alpinen Klassikern der Schneebergwand bis hin zum Dachstein klettertechnisch austoben. Wir sind stets bemüht aktuelle Infos zu Routenbeschaffenheit anzubieten.
In der bewirteten Adamekhütte kann natürlich ein Lager oder Mehrbettzimmer bezogen werden. Zu diesem Zwecke, möchten wir unsere Gäste bitten, vorher telefonisch zu reservieren, weil auf der Hütte kein permanenter Internetzugang verfügbar ist.
