Schreiberwandeck ridge (IV) to the Schreiberwandeck west summit (2225 m)

The Schreiberwand ridge runs over the ridge-like pillar of the westernmost spurs of the Schreiberkamm to the west summit of the Schreiberwandeck. Enjoyable climbing up to a maximum of difficulty grade 4 with very good protection using bolt anchors and some chockstones, mostly on slabs and wall steps. All belay stations are equipped with hangers. One of the easiest ascents on the Schreiberkamm in the Adamekhütte climbing area. Good to combine with a route on the left (western) part of the Niederer Schreiberwand – e.g. Rainerweg, Diagonal or Hut Pillar – whose entries the descent path passes closely. The rock quality (limestone) is good to very good, the protection (bolt anchors, chockstones) very good. The difficulties mainly range between 2 and 3+, some sections 4- and 4 (3+ obligatory).
