Just behind Zumaia is a beautiful beach, and next to it photogenic limestone layers stretch into the waves.

The northern Camino de Santiago (Camino Santiago del Norte) runs from Hondarribia on the Spanish-French border along the Basque Atlantic coast through Donostia/San Sebastián, Zarautz, Deba, Marika-Xemein, Gernika-Lumo, Bilbao and Portugalete to Kobarón on the border with Cantabria. 

The Camino del Norte (also called the Coastal Route) takes us from the French/Spanish border along the Bay of Biscay westward along the northern Spanish coast, and then shortly before Santiago joins the Camino Francés.

Spectacular cliffs, charming fishing villages and intense nature experiences.

Circular route starting from the old town of Zumaia along the Flysch coastline to a viewpoint overlooking the coast and towards Northern Spain. Return to the main Flysch beach with incredible rock formations, restaurant, and beach.

The third stage of the Way of St. James on the Basque Atlantic coast leads from Zarautz to Deba.
