Great hike through the Geopark of the Basque coastSince 2010, the coastal section between Ondarroa and Zumaia has been a Geopark, which owes its appeal to the flysch formations. Thus, the route between Deba and Zumaia is certainly one of the most beautiful coastal hikes that can be discovered in the Basque Country. The route hike is also part of the long-distance trail Vuelta a Guipuzkoa (GR 121).

Great tour from the coast to the heart of the Basque Country to the monastery of Loiola. Different (mostly easy) paths, long but not difficult. Some cafés, bars, and restaurants in Zestoa. Long but beautiful ascent after Zestoa. Here there is also a museum with prehistoric rock paintings. In Azpeitia, there is the Basque railway museum and the Abbey of Saint Ignatius of Loyola. (From here it goes on to Zumarraga and to the monastery of Arantzazu - each 1 day)
