Hiking in Cadaqués

The GR 11, also known as the Ruta Transpirenaica or Senda Pirenaica, is a long-distance hiking trail that crosses the Pyrenees in Spain from west to east.

Half-day route up to the 488 m high viewpoint Puig Alt, and along the coast to four pretty rocky bays of the Costa Brava

We hike through the Parc Natural del Cap de Creus with fantastic views to the easternmost point of the Iberian Peninsula. Along the way, idyllic coves invite you to take swimming breaks.

The final stage of the GR 11 leads through the idiosyncratic coastal landscape of Cap de Creus to a destination on the Mediterranean that is as symbolic as it is emotional.
