The holiday regions of Vorarlberg entice visitors with an incredible wealth of hikes through a unique natural and cultural landscape. 6000 km of hiking trails lead to the most beautiful vantage points in the region and allow hikers to discover true natural treasures. Modern mountain railways make many an arduous ascent or descent easier, which would otherwise require a very good level of fitness. The sun terraces of the Alps invite you to take a break with tasty alpine cheese and marvellous views.

Tip: Forest bathing

Anyone who thinks that forest bathing is just another term for a walk in the forest is mistaken:
Forest bathing means immersing yourself in the silence of the forest, it means becoming one with nature, pure relaxation and slowing down. Forest bathing is a great way to forget everyday life, to calm down and literally enjoy the pure, flavoursome air, the pure life energy that leads to more inner peace.

In the forests of Vorarlberg, fans of forest bathing will find places where they can unwind - and incidentally learn about the importance of the forest for us and how we can protect it.
