    Der Rundweg hat aktuell folgende Problempunkte: 1. Durch die Steinbrucherweiterung im Norden wurde der Rundwanderweg weiter nach aussen verlegt und ist sehr verschmutzt/kaum begehbar. 2. Nach dem Schanzlweiher bei der Einmündung in die Wittelsbacherstr. ist die Abkürzung über den Steinachbach total zugewachsen und die Brücke über den Steinachbach eingebrochen, d.h. nicht mehr passierbar. Hier muss man, der Markierung 4 folgend, den Bereich umgehen (siehe 1 + 2 Bild).

    Nette anspruchslose Kurzwanderung. Die Wegstrecke über den Westhang führt nahezu durchweg durch Waldabschnitte, erst hinter Schuchristleger bieten sich kurze schöne Ausblicke in die Landschaft. Der Höhenweg ist ganz nett, bietet aufgrund "Verbuschung" aber quasi überhaupt keine Ausblicke. Durch das unwegsame Gelände benötigt man hier für eine kurze Wegstrecke auch vergleichsweise lang. Vergleichbare Höhenwege im Harz (Teufelsmauer) oder in der Sächsischen Schweiz sind deutlich interessanter. Tourendaten sind soweit stimmig.

    Bereits am Parkplatz hat man sehr schöne Ausblicke gen Osten mit dem Großen Arber, bevor der Weg Richtung Käsplatte beginnt. Nach kurzem Aufstieg bietet sich von dessen Gipfel erneut ein sehr schöner Ausblick. Die weitere Wegstrecke ist dann bis Münchshöfen zunächst sehr steil und unwegsam bergab (ausgewaschene Wege über Stein und Wurzel), sowie uninteressant. Bei Münchshöfen bieten sich dann nochmal schöne Ausblicke auf die östlichen Gipfel, bevor der Aufstieg zurück zum Parkplatz beginnt. Bei Kilometer 5,5 der Tour würde ich empfehlen, den Weg "Knollnburger-Pröllersteig" zu nehmen, da ich den Abzweig der Tour hier nicht wahrgenommen/gefunden hatte und quasi querfeldein durch den Wald musste. Insgesamt eine nette Tour, die ich so aber nicht nochmal laufen würde. Stattdessen je nach Uhrzeit zunächst auf die Käsplatte und von dort zurück zum Parkplatz und auf den Pröller-Gipfel bietet dieselben Aus- und Weitblicke, ist aber nochmal einen ganzen Ticken kürzer in der Wegstrecke. Die Tourendaten stimmen im Übrigen, auch die Wegezeit ist absolut realistisch.

    Nette Rundwanderung mit schönen Blicken vom Hirschenstein, dessen Turm auch Personen mit Höhenangst unproblematisch betreten können. Die Wegstrecke zum Schopf und entlang des Wassermühlgrabens entfand ich allerdings als überflüssig, da es beim Schopf aufgrund des Baumbestandes mit Ausnahme des Gipfelkreuzes absolut nichts zu sehen gab und der Wassergraben in der weiteren Wegstrecke weniger sehenswert ist, als gen Ende der Tour. Ich würde daher empfehlen, den Rückweg bereits als Hinweg zu nehmen und direkt auf den Hirschenstein zu wandern. Tourendaten sind stimmig und auch die Zeiten passen.

    Schöne, kurzweilige Rundwanderung auf und um den Pröller, die nur wenige Höhenmeter bedarf und auf dem Gipfel bei passenden Wetterbedingungen herrliche Ausblicke bietet. Bei mir waren diese heute leider nicht sonderlich gut, sodass die Ausblicke beschränkt waren. Die Waldabschnitte waren dennoch sehr nett. In Anbetracht der kurzen benötigten Zeit für die Wanderung, kann ich diese Empfehlen, wenn man ohnehin in der Nähe ist.
