From the inn, we set off northwest on Schönsteiner Straße toward Rißmühl, pass under the B20, and hike along Trail 6 and then Trail 3 to Pfahlhaus. Here we join the Goldsteig (marked with a yellow “S”), which we follow again across the B20.
After Stubenhof, we join Trail 4 in the forest and follow it to the left toward Grub. In Grub, we turn left (back onto Trail 4) and hike along the Kandlbach stream back to Stallwang. We return to the starting point via the street “Am Kandlbach.”
