The Joy of Reaching the Summit with Views of the Caucasus On this 2-day tour, you’ll not only get a great glimpse into the diverse natural landscape of the Lesser Caucasus, but also a fantastic view from the summit of Lomismta of the snow-capped mountains of the Greater Caucasus, over 200 km away. In the evening, you can recover from the exertions of the long ascent by the campfire under the starry sky.

Tracking Bears and Wolves through Forest and Valley We have to earn the wonderful views of the Kvabiskhevi Valley during the strenuous climb through the cool forest. Keep your eyes open during breaks: there’s a good chance to spot tracks of wolves or bears on the damp ground. But don’t worry, the park’s inhabitants are shy. When we hike down the dizzying descent into the valley and pass idyllic flower meadows by the Zemoti castle ruins, all efforts are forgotten. The Track Trail is the more varied and demanding alternative to the snowshoe tour.

Forest walk with panoramic views over the old spa town This circular hike is perfect for getting an overview of the town and valley. It leads past the ruins of the medieval Gogia fortress, which was part of the warning system against enemies. In the forest, which is already part of the nature park, we can take deep breaths. The breathtaking views from the crosses towering high above the town are stunning.

Large loop through the pristine nature of the National ParkOriginally designed as a two-day winter route, this circular trail is also a beautiful, long day hike in all other seasons. Through deciduous and mixed forest, past gnarled oaks and idyllic clearings, there are many flowers to discover on the forest floor besides mosses and lichens, ferns, and mushrooms, including orchids.

Scenic hike to the edge of the ancient volcanic crater In winter, the second largest ski area in Georgia is quite busy, but in summer and autumn, you almost have the mountains to yourself and can enjoy the view from the southern edge of the barely visible crater, where the village is located, undisturbed. Especially in autumn, when the leaves on the trees change color, this hike is beautiful. On the traces of the long history of winter tourism, one encounters repeatedly.

Introductory round through Georgia's oldest national park Those who do not want to undertake a longer tour can get a first impression of the park's nature on this small circular trail. The path takes us through mixed and pine forests past picnic areas and the small St. Nino Chapel. Unfortunately, the information boards expected from the official name of the hike are missing, but after a visit to the information center, no questions remain.

A nature experience with magnificent views and animal encounters The two-day Panorama Trail lives up to its name and also offers an exceptionally high biodiversity: It leads through subtropical Colchis forest, mixed and coniferous forest, interspersed with flower-covered meadows and past rugged rocks that reveal themselves as small rock gardens upon a second glance. When in the evening you hear the bears roar in the valley by the campfire, you are glad that you will not come as close to them as to the ancestors of our domestic goat, the wild goats in the bezoar goat enclosure at the start of the hike.
