Circular hike from Falkenstein via the Kronbuchenhütte to the Beutelfels with the Iron Man. Then continue via Löwenbergs-Ruhe and the Rote Halde to the visitor mine Weiße Grube. We steadily climb through the forest up to the Kupferberghütte with a great panoramic view. From there, continue along many pits, adits, and open-cast mines with interesting panels about the mining history at Donnersberg before turning off at the Dicke Eiche junction towards Falkenstein. Shortly before the town, we pass the Protestant church tower, which stands alone in a meadow, before returning to the starting point.
Outbound route on a path carved into the rock… a bit of alpine feeling ;)

    Wunderschöne Wanderung. Überwiegend Pfade, abwechslungsreiche Natur,  viele tolle Aussichten.  Interessante Einblicke in die Bergbauvergangenheit. Pfalz pur.
    Viele kleine Abzweigungen. Gute Navigation und ausreichend Akku (Powerbank) zu empfehlen!

    Tolle sportliche Tour in wunderschöner Natur. Zum Auf- und Abwärmen geht's über breite Wege, später dann auch mal deutlich schmaler in super schönem Wald. Die Spots an den alten Stollen wirken fast mystisch. Es empfiehlt sich, die Outdooractive Karte dabei zu haben, dann kommt man sehr gut und einfach durch. Tolle Tour, vielen Dank

    Die Tour besitzt immer wieder Steigungen, schmale Wege und reichlich Abgeschiedenheit mit ebenso vielen Sitzgelegenheiten. Mit festem Schuhwerk, Wanderstiefeln und Stöcken hatte ich ein Gutes und sicheres Gefühl. Die Aussichten kann man für erholsame Päuschen nutzen um die Gedanken schweifen lassen. Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Tour bei der man mit einem guten Gefühl der Erschöpfung nach Hause geht.
