Personally run restaurant with a marvellous view of the forest and vineyards. Here, the chef cooks with passion and creativity. Down-to-earth, regional cuisine, finely balanced with fresh garden herbs and spices. Some of the fruit and vegetables come directly from the Castell garden, meat and sausages from the family's own butcher's shop. No additives or flavour enhancers are used and there is no microwave. Every dish is a delight, from the starter to the dessert.
In pleasant temperatures, you can enjoy breakfast on the Castell terrace or a cocktail or spritzer after a hike. In the evening you can watch the sun go down and hear the crickets chirping. That's what we call relaxation, winding down, being in harmony with nature. You are also welcome to stay a few days, simply book one of our hotel rooms with 3-star ‘Superior’ comfort. Welcome to the Castell. A reservation is recommended.
