The 360° observation deck on the City Hall tower offers a particularly beautiful view of the city; enjoy the stunning panorama of the European City of Görlitz/Zgorzelec. Wednesday through Sunday at 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. (last ascent) New: Every Friday at 6:00 p.m., there is a guided tour of the tower in Polish.

Die Lausche (tschechisch Luž) ist mit 792,6 m der höchste Berg im Zittauer Gebirge und im gesamten Oberlausitzer Gebirge sowie die höchste Erhebung in Deutschland östlich der Elbe.

Der Hochwald und der Hochwaldturm ist seit 1892 ein Ausflugsziel in der Oberlausitz und mit 749m über dem Meeresspiegel einer der höchsten Aussichtstürme der Urlaubsregion. 

Unweit von Mittelherwigsdorf am Ortseingang aus Richtung Oberseifersdorf, befindet sich eine tolle Aussicht in das Zittauer und Jeschkengebirge. Ein Rastplatz bietet Platz für eine kurze Pause.

Beinah endlos schweift der Blick über die sanften Erhebungen vom Ottoberg über die Sängerhöhe bis zum Großschönauer Hutberg und bei guter Sicht bis hin zum Kottmar.

Am westlichen Rand des Erholungsortes Waltersdorf gelegen ist die 495 Meter hohe Sängerhöhe mit ihren Basaltfelsen ein beliebter Platz für Picknick und um die Aussicht zu genießen.

Only a few minutes by car from the magnificent buildings of the historic old town, the Berzdorfer See lake opens up a real natural paradise.  

The Hother Tower (Hotherbastei) was one of the 30 bastions of the city wall of Görlitz and is today the last remaining corner bastion on site. Here, the old town with its "tanners' quarter" at the Neisse River ("Hother") meets the Nikolaivorstadt with its "weavers' quarter".

The observation tower (309.4 m above sea level) provides an excellent view of Lake Berzdorf and the surrounding area.
