    ich bin die Tour anders herum gegangen und das war nicht ideal. Der Abstieg vom Bürgenstock war ein Gemisch von Wurzeln, Treppenstufen und Steinen unter zum Glück trockenem Laub. teilweise sehr steil. bei Nässe hätte ich den Weg nicht gehen wollen. wenn man den Weg wie beschrieben gehen würde, hätte man eine lange Durststrecke mit wenig Aussicht, bis man endlich beim Bürgenstock ankäme. Da die Aussicht von diesem überwältigend ist und beim Abstieg auch gebe ich trotzdem vier Sterne.

    Es ist zu beachten dass die Tour als Bergtour und nicht als Wanderung deklariert ist. Die Route über Glogghüs, Rothorn und weiter ist eine blau/weiß markiere Gratwanderung/ Gipfelüberschreitung. Vom Schwierigkeitsgrad SAC mit T4 bis T5 bewertet. Wer sich nicht auskennt bitte googlen. Meine persönliche Herausforderung war zwar auch die technische Schwierigkeit, mehr aber noch wie ausgesetzt der Pfad, vor allem an den Schlüsselstellen, ist. Die Schlüsselstellen waren für mich nicht die drahtseilgesicherten Passagen, sondern die steilen ausgewaschenen Schrofen-Abstiege. Wer nicht schwindelfrei und trittsicher ist, sollte es lassen. Für erfahrene Bergtourengeher sehr zu empfehlen. Die herrlichen Ausblicke entschädigen hier jeden Schweißtropfen.

    Eine lange, aber großteils sehr schöne Etappe! Eine Fahrt mit der historischen Zahnradbahn zum Reichenbachfall hoch (mit Gästekarte 3 Franken billiger) lohnt sich unbedingt, da man sonst gar nicht so nahe an die Wasserfälle herankommt, wenn man hochläuft. Der Abstieg von der großen Scheidegg nach Grindelwald lässt sich bei Bedarf mit dem Postauto an diversen Haltestellen verkürzen. Weil schlechtes Wetter drohte, sind wir von der Passhöhe ab nach unten gefahren.

    Die Rundtour ist sowohl technisch als auch konditionell sehr anspruchsvoll. Die Routenführung ist im Gelände gut erkennbar und äusserst abwechslungsreich, beinhaltet jedoch auch einige Schiebepassagen. Dafür wird man mit einer schlichtweg fantastischen Aussicht und einem beeindruckenden Panorama belohnt – absolut TOP! Wie bereits vom Autor empfohlen, eignet sich der Herbst besonders gut für diese Tour. Während der Sommermonate sind viele Wanderer unterwegs, denen man auf den schmalen Wegen immer wieder ausweichen muss. Zudem erschweren zahlreiche Viehzäune die Fahrt und unterbrechen den Flow regelmässig.
