So ein MB Tour über das wunderschöne Appenzeller Vorder- und Mittelland und den speziellen Sitterstrandweg bei St. Gallen, kann ich mit besten Gewissen als eine sehr schöne und erlebnisreiche MBT weiterempfehlen. Ob du jetzt ein EMB oder lieber ein normales MB für diese Tour wählst ist natürlich deine Entscheidung, aber mit dem EMB wirst du sicher mehr Spass bei dieser Tour haben.

Mir hat diese Mountain Bike Tour sehr gut gefallen, die Anfahrt mit der Zahnradbahn nach Heiden war schon etwas Besonderes und mit dem Bike, bei schönstem Wetter, über die hügeligen Wiesen vom Appenzellerland zu fahren, ist wie in einem schönen Traum und macht Lust auf mehr. Es hat definitiv Spass gemacht und das ist für mich die Hauptsache. Mit einem EM-Bike unterwegs zu sein ist einfach toll, mit den vier verschiedenen Leistungsstufen, ECO / TOUR / eMTB und Turbo, kann sich jeder sein Fitnessgrad gemäss seinen Bedürfnissen einstellen, wer aber soweit fährt wie ich heute, muss haushälterisch mit der Akku Energie umgehen, sonst steht sein Rad auf einmal mit leerem Akku da. Die Einstellung Turbo habe ich nicht genutzt, bis nach Urnäsch bin ich hauptsächlich auf der Stufe, ECO und TOUR gefahren, von Urnäsch hinauf zur Hochalp meistens mit der Stufe eMTB. Auch mit einem E-Bike unter dem Po ist diese Tour nicht zu unterschätzen.

Diese EMTB Tour über die wunderschönen Hügel von Appenzell Ausserrhoden, in schönster Natur, hat mir ausserordentlich gut gefallen. Es ist zu beachten, dass diese Tour am besten in den Morgenstunden bis Mittag absolviert werden sollte, um diese Zeit werden die MTB Routen und Wanderwegen nur wenig benutzt. Allen «Nachahmern» wünsche ich alles Gute bei dieser schönen Tour. Siehe dazu auch noch meine GPS-Aufzeichnung und die Fotos im Anhang.

Auf dieser beschriebenen Route fährt man durchwegs, mit wenigen Ausnahmen, alles über autofreie Rad- und Wanderwege, nur auf der Strecke durch die Stadt St. Gallen fahre ich, ab und zu, auf befahrenen Nebenstraßen. Herausheben möchte ich die Fahrt vom Oberer Horst über Waldegg nach Egg und weiter nach Liebegg, (St. Gallen), das ist eine wunderschöne Panoramastrecke mit schönster Aussicht über das weite Appenzellerland bis hinüber zum Alpstein.

Für mich war es eine sehr schöne «Plausch» E-Bike Rundfahrt bei schönem Wetter, in schönster Natur. Speziell im Thurgau gibt es sehr viele, attraktive, und relativ einfach zu befahrende Rad- und Wanderwege.
