Züsch is known for its breathtaking scenery and picturesque villages that meander along the Moselle. The region is also famous for its wines and culinary delicacies such as Saumagen (pork stomach stuffed with potatoes) or liver dumplings.

The city of Trier-Saarburg is home to many tourist attractions such as the Trier Cathedral, the Porta Nigra or the amphitheatre. Cultural highlights are also numerous here: The Rhineland Regional Museum presents impressive archaeological finds from Roman times and the Simeonstift City Museum displays works of art from the Middle Ages to the present.

Outdoor activities are not neglected in Züsch either: hike through the Hunsrück or explore the wine routes along the river on your bike. In winter you can even go skiing!

If it rains there are still plenty of opportunities to enjoy yourself. For example, visit one of the many cosy cafés or restaurants in the charming villages around Züsch or go wine tasting at a local vintner.

Whether it's spring, summer, autumn or winter - every season has its own charm in Züsch, Trier-Saarburg. However, it is particularly beautiful in spring and autumn, when the landscape is ablaze with bright colours.

Unbedingt ausreichend Verpflegung mitnehmen!
