Winnenden lies on the edge of the Swabian Forest and is surrounded by idyllic nature. The town itself has a picturesque old town with half-timbered houses and historic buildings. A highlight of the region are the vineyards which stretch along the slopes.

For history lovers, a visit to the local history museum or the 16th century Winnental Castle with its impressive architecture is recommended. Art lovers should visit the Museum of Contemporary Art.

Another highlight is the annual town festival "Winzerfest", which takes place at the end of September and presents numerous wines from the region as well as offering musical entertainment.

Culinary Winnenden also has a lot to offer - be sure to try the regional onion tart or enjoy a glass of local wine directly from the winery.

The surrounding area also offers many opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking or cycling through the Swabian Forest or a boat trip on the nearby Breitenau Lake in the summer months.

Even in rainy weather, there are plenty of activities in Winnenden: for example, visit one of the many cosy cafés or take a trip to the nearby state capital of Stuttgart.

Overall, Winnenden, Rems-Murr-Kreis is a destination that is definitely worth a trip. Visit this charming town and experience its beauty and hospitality for yourself!

Mega Event, toll organisiert, tolle Leute, tolle Strecke.
