Discover the region

Geographically, Weingarten lies on the edge of the Black Forest and thus offers a breathtaking landscape with numerous outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling or skiing in winter. It is particularly beautiful here in spring and autumn, when nature shows itself at its best.

The town itself also has a lot to offer. One of the most important sights is Weingarten Castle, an impressive 18th century baroque palace with beautiful gardens all around. The town church of St. Laurentius with its striking tower is also worth a visit.

For culture enthusiasts, there is the Museum of 19th Century Art and Technology as well as regular concerts and theatre performances at the Löwenhof Cultural Centre.

Culinary Weingarten also has a lot to offer - be sure to try the regional asparagus or enjoy a glass of local wine in one of the cosy Straußwirtschaften.

And what to do if it rains? How about a visit to the Therme Weißenburg or a tour of one of the many museums?

All in all, Weingarten is definitely worth a visit! Don't miss this jewel on the edge of the Black Forest - our Travel Guide will help you plan your stay in the best possible way.

Grandiose Radrunde.
