Discover the region

Geographically, Stelzenberg lies at the foot of the Palatinate Forest and thus offers a breathtaking backdrop of picturesque forests and rolling hills. Hikes through the Palatinate Forest or along the nearby Lautertal valley are particularly recommended.

But Stelzenberg also has a lot to offer culturally: Neuhofen Castle delights with its magnificent architecture and adjacent park, while the local history museum provides an insight into the life of times gone by. Those who like to admire art should definitely visit the studio of sculptor Sabine Runde.

For culinary delights, there are numerous restaurants and cafés in the centre of Stelzenberg as well as in the surrounding villages. Here, regional specialities such as "Saumagen" or liver dumplings are served - a real treat for the palate!

Outdoor activities are not neglected here either: in summer, bathing lakes such as the Gelterswoog lure you to swim and sunbathe, while in winter, skiing is possible on the Donnersberg.

And what to do when it rains? No problem! The region around Stelzenberg offers numerous indoor activities such as visits to museums or shopping tours through Kaiserslautern.

But the most beautiful thing in Stelzenberg is simply being out in nature. Whether it's a hike through the Palatinate Forest or a leisurely stroll along the Lauter Valley - everyone gets their money's worth here.

All in all, Stelzenberg is definitely worth a trip and a perfect destination for anyone who longs for peace and relaxation. With this travel guide, you are well prepared for your stay!
