Maps and trails
Geographically, Rottenacker lies on the banks of the Danube between Ulm and Sigmaringen. The landscape around the town is characterised by rolling hills, meadows and forests. One of the best-known attractions in Rottenacker is the Obermarchtal monastery with its impressive baroque architecture.

In addition to the monastery, there are other tourist attractions such as Mochental Castle or the ruins of Albeck Castle. Those interested in culture should plan a visit to the local history museum.

A variety of events also take place in Rottenacker throughout the year - from the traditional Easter market to the Christmas market. Another highlight are the summer concerts on the market square.

Culinary Rottenacker also has a lot to offer: Be sure to try the famous Schwabenbraten or enjoy local specialities such as Spätzle or Maultaschen.

For outdoor activities, the nearby Danube cycle path is particularly suitable, as are numerous hiking trails through the picturesque surroundings of Rottenacker. In winter, you can also go cross-country skiing or ice skating on the frozen lake.

And what do you do in Rottenacker when it rains? Even in bad weather there is plenty to do, for example a visit to the indoor swimming pool or a cosy coffee break in one of the many cafés.

All in all, Rottenacker is a wonderful destination and offers something for everyone - whether cultural sights, culinary delights or outdoor activities. A travel guide for everyone who wants to make the most of their stay here!

Meine Kritikpunkte voraus: 1. Warum eBike-Tour? Es gibt auch noch sportliche Normal-Radfahrer. 2.
