Geographical location and special features: Rivenich is located on the banks of the Moselle and is surrounded by picturesque vineyards. The region is known for its excellent wines and the idyllic landscape along the river. Numerous fruit trees blossom here in spring, while the grape harvest begins in autumn.

Tourist attractions: Visit Lieser Castle, an impressive 19th century castle complex with a breathtaking view of the Moselle. Machern Monastery is also worth a visit - a former Cistercian monastery from the 12th century with a beautiful baroque church.

Cultural highlights and events: The region around Rivenich also has a lot to offer culturally: The medieval festival in Bernkastel-Kues or the traditional wine festival parade are just a few examples of events where you can experience the culture of the region up close.

Culinary specialities: Be sure to try the famous "Moselschiefer" - a hearty stew with potatoes and meat as well as regional spices such as marjoram or caraway. Of course, it goes perfectly with a glass of local wine!

Outdoor activities: In the summer months, you can go canoeing along the Moselle or take a bike tour along the river. In autumn, the vineyards invite you to take long walks.

Where is it most beautiful in Rivenich, Bernkastel-Wittlich? A visit is particularly recommended in spring, when the fruit trees are in blossom and the landscape is bathed in a sea of colour. But Rivenich also has its charm in summer and autumn - just enjoy the relaxed life on the Moselle!

What to do in Rivenich when it rains? There are plenty of things to do even if the weather is bad: For example, visit the local history museum in Bernkastel-Kues or take a trip to nearby Trier with its impressive Roman history.

Rivenich and its surroundings are definitely worth a trip! With this travel guide, you have all the important information at hand for your next trip to Rivenich. We hope you enjoy discovering this picturesque region of Germany!

Also nur ca. 11 km - nun denn! Also wieder nur ca. 10 km. Pilgerherz - was willst Du mehr?

Wochenend-Etappen in drei Jahren.
