Penzberg is located at the foot of the Bavarian Alps and offers a variety of tourist attractions. Visit the Bürgerhaus Penzberg, a modern building with an interesting architecture or explore the castle museum in Weilheim-Schongau. Cultural highlights are the annual festivals such as the pottery market festival or the town festival.

For culinary specialties, be sure to try the traditional Bavarian roast pork or go on a journey of discovery through the numerous breweries. In terms of outdoor activities, there is a lot to experience here: Hiking, cycling, climbing and skiing are just a few examples. The best seasons for this are spring to autumn and winter for winter sports activities.

If it rains, you can spend a leisurely day in one of the many museums or visit one of the thermal baths. The Alpamare adventure pool in Bad Tölz is especially recommended!

The most beautiful area of Penzberg is around Lake Starnberg - a wonderful place for walking or just relaxing by the water.

Overall, this region is definitely worth a trip! With this travel guide, you now have all the important information and travel tips at hand to make the most of your stay.

Eine super Tour. So macht Rennrad fahren Spaß!
