Particularly worth seeing is the 12th century church of St. Laurentius, which is one of the oldest buildings in the region. Bürresheim Castle, which served as the film set for Game of Thrones, also attracts many visitors.

Cultural highlights include the annual castle festival at Bürresheim Castle or the international music festival "Eifel Art" in nearby Gerolstein.

In terms of culinary delights, you can look forward to hearty specialities such as sauerkraut and bratwurst, but regional wines are also a must.

For outdoor enthusiasts, there are numerous activities such as hiking or cycling along the Eifel lake district. In winter, ski resorts in the area entice you to go skiing and snowboarding.

Nohn also has plenty to offer when it rains: one recommendation, for example, would be a visit to the Lava Dome in Mendig - here you can learn all about volcanoes and their history of formation.

The most beautiful place is probably the Riedener Waldsee, situated between wooded mountain slopes with crystal-clear water - perfect for a relaxing day on the lakeshore!

It is not for nothing that Nohn is considered a real insider tip among travellers and is definitely worth a trip. With our Travel Guide, you have all the important information for a successful stay in Nohn, Vulkaneifel district at your fingertips!
