Volcanic Eifel Path: Hochkelberg Panorama Path
The Hochkelberg Panorama Path connects the Hillesheim Limestone Basin via the nature and landscape conservation area around the Hochkelberg with the Ulmen Maar. Recommendation: to hike the path in 2 stages
The Hochkelberg Panorama Path connects the Hillesheim Limestone Basin via the nature and landscape conservation area around the Hochkelberg with Jungfer Weiher and the Ulmen Maar.
At the beginning, streams shape the relief: Anbach, Nohner Bach and Bodenbach. Legendary is the pilgrimage chapel on the Heyerberg.
Unmissable on the hike are the many vaulted mountain peaks. They recall the fiery creation of the Eifel landscape. The "up and down" between the distinctive high Eifel mountains remains moderate and is "passable" for all age groups, so a tour through exciting earth history is unobstructed!
Conclusion: A great hiking pleasure for everyone who wants to get a comprehensive picture of the High and Volcanic Eifel and relies on the proven attributes "hiking boots and backpack"! In addition, a sustainable trail guidance system that is second to none compared to premium trails and makes getting lost practically impossible!
It is recommended to hike the path in 2 stages.
