Neuhütten is a popular destination for nature lovers and hikers. The famous "Traumschleifen" hiking trail "Köhlerpfad" leads through the town and offers spectacular views of the Nahe valley. In the summer months, you can also enjoy canoeing or fishing on the nearby rivers.

For cultural highlights, be sure to visit Dhaun Castle, which dates back to the 16th century and now serves as a museum. The collegiate church of St. Martinus is also worth a visit - it was built in the 11th century and houses some remarkable works of art.

In Neuhütten there are many culinary specialities to discover - from traditional dishes such as Saumagen to local wines from the Moselle region.

If it rains, you can settle down in a cosy restaurant or visit one of the many museums in Trier-Saarburg, including the Rheinisches Landesmuseum Trier or the Karl-Marx-Haus.

The best time for outdoor activities is between spring and autumn, when temperatures are mild and the landscape is in its full glory. Some recommended places for hiking are the Hunsrück-Höhenweg and the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig.

Neuhütten is a destination that is definitely worth a visit. With its breathtaking scenery, cultural highlights and culinary delights, it offers something for everyone. Use this Travel Guide to help you with your planning - we look forward to welcoming you to Neuhütten!

Unbedingt ausreichend Verpflegung mitnehmen!
