Discover the region

Geographically, Neubiberg is located southeast of Munich and borders the municipalities of Ottobrunn, Unterhaching as well as Taufkirchen. The proximity to the Bavarian capital makes it an ideal starting point for day trips to Munich or to nearby Lake Starnberg.

Touristically relevant are above all the sights such as Hohenbrunn Castle with its impressive baroque garden or the historic town centre with its picturesque half-timbered houses. Cultural highlights can be found in the town hall forum, where art exhibitions are regularly held, or in the library of the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics.

Neubiberg also has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine: Whether traditional Bavarian cuisine in rustic inns or international dishes in modern restaurants - here everyone will find something to their taste.

For outdoor activities, the forest park "Forstenrieder Park", which also serves as a local recreation area, is particularly suitable. Here you can hike, cycle and picnic - depending on the season, there are always new impressions to discover.

And if it rains? Then a visit to the indoor swimming pool "Neuperlach" or the indoor playground "Kinderland" is recommended. The cinema centre at the Feringasee also offers a welcome change in bad weather.

Where is it nicest in Neubiberg? That's hard to say, because every place has its own unique charm. However, the walks in Hohenbrunn Palace Park or along the stream "Hachinger Bach" are particularly recommended.

Neubiberg - a little jewel in the district of Munich and definitely worth a visit! With this travel guide and the detailed travel tips, nothing will stand in the way of an unforgettable stay.

60 km a runde Sach'.
