The cycle ring takes us from Taufkirchen through the Hachinger Tal valley to Oberhaching and Deisenhofen. We cross Grünwalder Forst to Grünwald and cycle a short distance through the Isar valley. At Baierbrunn we pedal up the banks of the Isar. Through Forstenrieder Park we reach Buchendorf and shortly afterwards Gauting. Behind the Kreuzlinger Forst lies the town of Germering. Via Alling, Germannsberg, Biburg, Pfaffing and Gelbenholzen we cycle to Fürstenfeld Monastery and Fürstenfeldbruck. From here we follow the Ammer-Amper cycle path via Emmering, Olching, Esting, Geiselbullach and Graßlfing to Dachau. Passing the Olympic regatta facility, we come to Schleißheim Castle. Along the Schleißheim Canal we reach Hochbrück. After a few minutes we are in Dirnismaning, pass Garching and cycle through the Isar meadows to Ismaning. Behind the fish ponds at the reservoir we reach Unterföhring and the Feringasee. Through Aschheim we reach the Heimstettener See lake. We cross Feldkirchen, Ottendichl and Haar. In Keferloh we turn off to Solalinden. We then cycle on to Oedenstockach. After passing through Neubiberg we reach the country park. After Unterhaching we arrive back in Taufkirchen and at the starting point.

We cycle through the wet meadows to the motorway pond at the Oberhaching junction. There we cross under the motorway and reach the Furth district of Oberhaching. At the maypole we turn northwest. Past the chapel, we reach the edge of the valley of the Hachinger Bach and cycle further southwest on the hill. After a short while, the path leads us back to the stream. We follow it upwards to its source. We have now reached the beginning of the Gleißental. At the next crossroads we follow the cycle ring up to Deisenhofen station. Here we cross over to the other side through the platform subway. Passing the Deisenhofen primary school, we reach Grünwalder Forst and Römerstraße. Follow this road westwards for a while until you reach the Sauschütt Geräumt behind the fields of the Laufzorn estate. At Sauschütt we turn right and reach Grünwald. We cycle through the town centre. Passing the tram stop, we reach the high bank of the Isar and Grünwald Castle. A small path takes us down to the Isar bridge. On the west side we continue upstream until we reach Baierbrunn via a steep gravel path. At the S-Bahn station we cross the railway line to Wolfratshausen. In Forstenriederpark we follow the Ludwigsgeräumt until just behind the motorway. Here we use a cross connection to Römerstraße. Passing the Eichelgarten, we reach Buchendorf. At the end of the village we turn left and arrive in Gauting. We cross the Würm and follow Bahnhofstraße uphill. On the other side of the railway we take a left turn to Römerstraße. We stay on this to the northwest until we reach the height of Pentenried. In Kreuzlinger Forst we first reach the KIM (Kreilinger Innovationsmeile), a settlement of several companies. Then we drive around a military training area. Behind the Lindau motorway we are in Germering. We follow the outskirts of the town and turn north of Landsberger Straße towards Fürstenfeldbruck. Up to Fürstenfeld Castle we now enjoy the ups and downs of the tertiary hill country with views as far as the Alps. In Alling we zigzag through the town centre and ride up to a beach hall. Behind a piece of forest we rush down from Germannsberg to Biburg. The next climb awaits us there. However, we are rewarded for this shortly afterwards with a wooded descent to Fürstenfeld Monastery. In the old town of Fürstenfeldbruck we turn onto the Ammer-Amper cycle path, which we will not leave again until Dachau. We cross the Amper again and arrive in Emmering. We cycle through the fields and meadows along the river towards Olching. There we change to the other bank in the village of Esting. After a few metres, a bridge leads over one of the arms of the Amper. We cross a sports ground and pass under the railway. After Olching we cycle along narrow paths past the golf course. Back on a car road, we turn east to the roundabout. We cross the Stuttgart motorway and turn off at Ampersee. After a few minutes we reach Feldgedinger Straße. We then have to follow the B471 eastwards for a while until we enter the Amper wetlands again. Now we follow the right bank of the Amper until we reach the family swimming pool in Dachau. Here we have to change sides of the river briefly to pass the swimming pool. Behind it we cross Dachau and arrive at the S-Bahn station. On the other side we cycle through a residential area. First along Schließheimer Strasse, later Dachauer Strasse, we reach the Schleißheimer Canal. We leave the B471 and cycle across the Olympic regatta grounds to Schleißheim Castle. Along the castle wall we come to the canal again and follow it until just before the Nuremberg motorway. On the other side is Dirnismaning. North of these houses the canal is our companion again for a short time until we cross the Isar along the B471 near Garching. After a few minutes in the river meadows we are in Ismaning. Along the S-Bahn line we reach the fish ponds at the Speichersee. We cycle past the Feringasee lake across the fields to Aschheim. Again we meet the B471. We leave this in the town and cycle to Heimstettener See. There we turn southwest and after a few metres we are in Feldkirchen. Now we follow the B471 through Ottendichl to Haar. We turn off several times and change to the other side of the railway. We pass high-rise buildings. After a small forest we are at the Keferloh estate. We turn off towards Solalinden. Continue straight on to Oedenstockach. We cross the Münchner Straße. After a few minutes we pass through Neubiberg. Behind the railway station we reach the landscape park. In Unterhaching we keep to the cemetery and cycle towards Taufkirchen with a view of the water tower. Behind Winning we reach the centre of Taufkirchen and thus our destination.
