Marquartstein is particularly famous for its 12th century Marquartstein Castle. Today, the castle houses a museum that gives an insight into the history of the village.     Schöne einsame Tour, die man aber m.M.n. anders herum gehen sollte, um die doch recht heiklen Passagen rund um die Hochlerch nicht bergab gehen zu müssen. Der kleine Abzweiger ca. 50m östlich vom Hochlerch ist übrigens sehr unangenehm, da hier eine recht glatte, steile und ausgesetzte Felsplatte zu bewältigen ist. Bei Schnee oder Nässe würde ich diese Runde insgesamt eher meiden.

    Super Tour, haben nicht viele Leute gesehen. Empfehlenswert ist die Tour zu machen, wenn es trocken ist, bei uns hat es leider geregnet, da hat sich die eine kleine Platte vorm Hochlerch in eine sehr rutschige Wasserbahn, mit Auswurf richtung Tal, verwandelt. Nicht schön, aber für uns noch machbar, für andere vielleicht aber nicht. Allgemein könnte die kleinen Kletterstellen vorm Hochlerch mehr erwähnt werden, das scheinen viele zu überlesen.
