Route guidance for the long 100 miles (161km) distance of the Chiemgauer100, whose start, finish, and intermediate stop have been in Bergen since 2021. The first loop, offering great views of Lake Chiemsee and the Alpine foothills from constantly changing perspectives, leads over Pattenberg, Staudach, Marquartstein, the Rachel and Hefter Alm down to Rottau and then up to the Sonnenalm on the Kampenwand. It continues over the Holzbauern Alm and Dahlsenalm down to Mühlau and Unterwössen, and over Widholz, Agersgschwendt, and the Hochgernhaus to the Hochgerngipfel. A steep descent to the Staudacheralm, past Bracht and Vorderalm, and back to Bergen for the intermediate stop. The second loop then goes over the Hochfelln, Eschelmoos to the Bischofsfellnalm, over the Jochbergsattel and the Rechenbergalmen down into the Röthelmoos. After a steep climb, the route goes up to the Hörndl and via Unternberg and Egg back to Maria Eck, and finally runs quietly through Bergen before a last wide loop around the finish returning to the TSV Bergen sports field.

Route of the longer 100 miles distance (161 km) of the Chiemgauer100, whose start, finish, and intermediate stop have been located in Bergen since 2021. The route is almost identical to the previous year: The first loop, which offers great views of the Chiemsee and the foothills from repeatedly new perspectives, leads from Bergen via Pattenberg, Staudach, Marquartstein, the Rachel and Hefter Alm back down to Rottau and then up to the Sonnenalm on the Kampenwand. For most participants, already after sunset, the route continues from there to the Hofbauern Alm and down over the Dahlsensattel to Mühlau and Unterwössen and then via Widholz, Agersgschwendt, and the Hochgernhaus up to the Hochgern summit. Be careful on the steep descent to the Staudacheralm, past Bracht- and Vorderalm, and back to Bergen for the intermediate stop. The shorter second loop then leads over the Hochfelln summit, Eschelmoos to the Bischofsfellnalm and over the Jochbergsattel and the Rechenbergalmen down to the Röthelmoos. Those who still have energy for a steep climb can run up to the Hörndl and over the Unternberg to Brand, while those who need to conserve reserves can run directly from Röthelmoos to Brand. For everyone, the finale runs via Egg back to Maria Eck and in a curve down to Bergen, before a mentally exhausting last long round around the finish leads to the finish at the TSV Bergen sports field.

Sehr schöne Strecke Hochplatte-Almen, Up: schön ruhig, wenig los. Down: teils voll (Samstag - Ausflügler), ab Hefter Alm sowieso viele Familien mit kleinen Kindern und Hunden….

Sehr schöne Tour. War mein erster Trailrun. Sehr genial! :-) Lag allerdings schon etwas Schnee, dadurch wurden die Socken nass. ;-)
