Geographically, Kroppen lies on the edge of the Spreewald, one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in Europe. The area is known for its rivers and canals as well as for its unique flora and fauna. But Kroppen also has a lot to offer culturally: There are many traditional festivals such as the Sorbian Easter Egg Market or the local festival "Kroppener Kirmes".

For outdoor fans, the region offers countless opportunities for hiking, cycling or boating on the waterways through the Spreewald. In summer, the lakes around Lübbenau are particularly popular for swimming or fishing.

But what can you do if it rains? No problem! There are numerous museums in the area, such as the Museum Schloss Lübbenau with its exhibition on Sorbian customs or the Industrial Museum Lausitzer Findlingspark Nochten which deals with the history of coal mining.

Of course, cucumbers are a culinary speciality of this region - be sure to try a fresh pickled cucumber from a local farm shop! Other local products such as honey from local beekeepers should not be missed either.

Where is it most beautiful in Kroppen? That depends entirely on what kind of landscape you prefer. If you love nature, you should definitely visit the Spreewald and take a boat trip on one of the many canals. But the historic towns like Lübbenau or Cottbus are also worth a visit.

In summary, Kroppen is a destination that has something to offer for everyone - from active outdoor activities to cultural highlights and relaxing in nature. Plan your visit now and discover this jewel in the Oberspreewald-Lausitz area of Germany!

Sehr schöne Runde ohne viel Trubel. Viel Waldwege, teils Schotter und alte Betonwege. Trekkingbike oder MTB Empfehlung.

Landschaftlich sehr reizvoll, gut ausgeschildert. In Kroppen bessere Beschilderung empfehlenswert.
