The numerous sights such as Ebersberg Castle or the parish church of St. Andreas in Kirchseeon are particularly relevant for tourism. Cultural highlights are also offered by various museums, galleries and theatre performances.

A visit during the various events such as the traditional folk festival or the wine festival in summer is particularly recommended. Culinary delights are also not neglected: be sure to try the regional specialities such as liver dumplings or pork knuckles.

    Hat mir auch sehr gut gefallen. Die Gegend ist einfach schön! Vielen Dank! P.S. nach Piusheim würde ich übrigens empfehlen, das Stück Straße nach Jakobsbaiern hochzufahren (der Hohlweg links hoch ist eh nicht so toll zu fahren). Die Aussicht vom Kirchhof ist wunderbar. Die Schafe sind süß, und die Hühner in der Nähe, die klassische Opern vorgespielt bekommen auch sehr nett.

    Die Tour steht nun schon seit einigen Jahren auf dem Portal und ich kann sagen - sie ist echt klasse und noch genauso gut zu fahren, wie vermutlich zum Zeitpunkt der Veröffentlichung. Mit einer Ausnahme: An einer Stelle geht der Trail nicht wie getrackt gerade aus Richtung Oberlaufing weiter, sondern er mündet in ein Privatgrundstück (Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/E7SKuPnBrKePx1Z98?g_st=am). Ist aber kein Problem. Rechts runter zu dem Weiler fahren, links abbiegen, weiter links halten und nach wenigen hundert Metern ist man wieder auf dem Trail und erreicht Oberlaufing. Die wunderschönen Wege durch den Ebersberger Forst waren durch Forstarbeiten teilweise tief aus gefurcht, was der Freude der Fahrt aber keinen Abbruch getan hat. Ich bin in Hohenthann eingestiegen und mein Garmin kam auf rund 60 km (passt), allerdings auf über 1.000 Höhenmeter (mehr, als in der Beschreibung verzeichnet). Alles in allem eine richtig schöne Tour mit einigen Highlights (Schloss Elkofen, St. Magdalenen Kirche in Haselbach, Ebersberger Aussichtsturm, Ortsweiher mit Kirchlein in Ilching, Steinsee, ...), die ich sicherlich noch einmal fahren werde!

    bin den interessanten teil der tour schon zweimal gefahren, vom gatter ganz oben im forst, am zaun entlang über den friedhof kirchseeon bis zum gatter in pöring. sehr schöne strecke, mit zwei kurzen krassen steigungen bzw. gefälle, jeweils am anfang und am ende. bei nassem wetter mit vorsicht zu geniessen.

    Toller Weg, sehr abwechslungsreich mit Abzweigungen, die abenteuerlich wirken, aber immer richtig sind. Vor allem auf dem Hinweg zum Steinsee ist eine gute GPS-Navigation (Uhr) erforderlich - ohne geht es kaum. Bin die Strecke gelaufen (gejoggt), was von den Wegen her gut geht. Eine schöne, abwechslungsreiche Tour, die ein echter Kenner der Gegend erstellt haben muss.
