Geographical location and special features: Gräfenhainichen is located in the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt and is surrounded by lakes, making it an ideal place for water sports activities. The city of Wittenberg, on the other hand, is located on the banks of the Elbe and is world-famous as the birthplace of the Protestant Reformation.

Tourist attractions: In Gräfenhainichen you should definitely visit Ferropolis - a unique outdoor museum with gigantic machines from the industrial age. If you're in Wittenberg, don't miss the castle church - this is where Martin Luther posted his 95 theses.

Cultural highlights and events: During the summer, numerous festivals take place in both cities: The Splash! Festival attracts thousands of music fans to Gräfenhainichen every year, while the Reformation Festival in Wittenberg pays homage to Luther's legacy.

Culinary specialities: Be sure to try the regional specialities such as "Sauerbraten" or "Quarkkeulchen". In many restaurants, vegetarian dishes can also be ordered.

    Premium-Tour - absolut empfehlenswert! Sehr abwechslungsreich. Eine Abkühlung im Stausee Dahlenberg als kleines Schmankerl sollte man nicht auslassen (;

    Schöne und sehr ruhige Fahrradtour. Selbst am Sonnabend hatten wir den Wald und die Natur fast für uns allein. Ein kurzes Stück Kopfsteinpflaster und eine kleine Schotterstrecke trüben den guten Gesamteindruck nur wenig. Momentan sollte man allerdings etwas mehr Zeit einplanen, da nach ca. 10 km vom Start der Radweg Leipzig/Berlin wegen des letzten Orkans noch nicht beräumt ist. Wir haben dies Richtung Söllichau umfahren - ca. 6 km zusätzlich.
