The most famous sight in Essenbach is Niederaichbach Castle. This impressive building dates back to the 16th century and today houses a museum with a collection of historical works of art and furniture. Another highlight is the parish church of St. Martinus, whose tower can be seen from afar above the roofs of the town.

Cultural highlights can also be found here: The annual folk festival in summer attracts visitors from near and far, as well as the traditional Easter bonfire or the wine festival in autumn are events not to be missed.

Essenbach, however, has much more to offer than just cultural attractions - there are also culinary delights! The region is especially known for its delicious dishes such as pork knuckle or liver dumplings - be sure to try local specialities!

For outdoor enthusiasts, hiking through the picturesque landscapes around Essenbach is a great option - especially beautiful in springtime when everything is in bloom but also great for walking . The nearby Isar cycle path invites you to explore the surroundings on two wheels.

If the weather doesn't cooperate, you can go swimming in the indoor swimming pool "Aquarena" or visit museums and galleries in the nearby city of Landshut.

Essenbach is a destination that is definitely worth a trip. Whether you want to discover cultural treasures, experience culinary delights or simply enjoy nature - you'll find it all here! Come by and let Essenbach enchant you.
