    Hinweis für alle, denen T4 und UIAA I nichts sagt: In dieser Kategorie beginnt das echte Bergsteigen über hochalpine Landschaft. Bergtouren führen anhaltend durch steilen, ausgesetzten Fels oder durch sehr abschüssiges Steilgras. Diese Partien verlangen die Beherrschung des I. Klettergrades (nach UIAA). Technische Installationen in Form von Drahtseilen, Ketten oder Steigbügel sind nicht mehr vorhanden - das Gelände ist unpräpariert, zugleich wild belassen. Für die Begehung sind grundlegende Kletterkenntnisse, sowie ein hohes Maß an Bergerfahrung nötig - für erfahrene Bergsteiger indes noch gut beherrschbar. Weniger Geübte müssen aber bereits am Seil gesichert werden. Eine Beschilderung ist nicht immer gegeben und auch eine Markierung lässt oft zu wünschen übrig - ist mitunter nicht existent. Bergstiefel mit verwindungsarmer Sohle nötig. In den Felspassagen ist das Tragen eines Steinschlaghelms Pflicht. Bergwanderanfänger sollten sich von Touren dieser und der nachfolgenden Kategorien fernhalten.

    ich kann mich den anderen kommentaren nur anschließen. obwohl ich schon einige alpine mehrtagestouren gemacht habe (darunter auch der sehr geröllige karwendel höhenweg), hat mich der aufstieg über das kistenkar mental extrem gefordert. niemals würde ich auf die idee kommen, hier abwärts zu gehen. die fehlende markierung des weges fand ich auch sehr erschwerend. man sollte beachten, dass der mentalen anforderung im kar, die über 100 höhenmeter anhält, noch ein sehr langer abstieg folgt, für den man noch power braucht. kleine info noch: hier ist extremer zeckenalarm.

    Einfache Wanderung mit super Einsteigerfreunlichem Klettersteig zum Gipfel. Ich finde die 3.5h hin und zurück sind locker machbar, aber für anfänger nicht realistisch. Vor allem, da es sich bei gutem Wetter gerne mal am Klettersteig staut. Für mich ist das Ettaler Manndl ein super Season-Opener, der super erreichbar ist. Die Aussicht ist trotz der eher geringen höhe sehr belohnend.

    Sehr schöne Tour die sich als Variante mit Abstieg Richtung Farchant spontan ausbauen lässt. Beim steilen aber wenig frequentierten Anstieg zur Hohen Kiste sind die Hände, bis zur letzten Passage zum Joch, vorwiegend zur Abwehr der Bremsen nötig. Am Joch nach gelben Punkten Ausschau halten und trittsicher sein.

    Sehr schöne Wanderung. Trittsicherheit auf Wurzeln und Geröll (auch im Trockenen) erforderlich. Bei/nach Regen kann es schon sehr rutschig werden. Es gibt auch ein paar Stellen, die sind für einen Gelegenheitswanderer schon knifflig und müssen gemeistert werden. Kondition ist ja bekanntlich immer sehr subjektiv, aber ich finde, die sollte schon vorhanden sein. Falls man die runde andersherum geht, ist gute Kondition jedenfalls zwingend. Für mein subjektives empfinden ist die Tour schon in der oberen Hälfte einer mittelschweren Tour angesiedelt (bin Gelegenheitswanderer) … aber sie ist schön und macht Spaß. Kurzer Abstecher für ein kühles (in Wassertränke kühl gehaltenes) Gerstensaftgengetränk zur Soila Alm empfehlenswert. Sind nur ein paar Minuten. Essen in der Seilstation Laberei ist sehr gut… mit fantastischem Ausblick.

    Sehr schöne Tour die allerdings nur für Geübte geeignet ist! Zudem müssen passende Bedingungen herrschen - trocken und kein Schnee. Dauer und Höhenmeter sind moderat, die Teilstrecke am Grat ist jedoch ausgesetzt und mittlerweile an der Schlüssel-Stelle mit einem Standplatz versehen, sodass im Zweifel nachgesichert werden kann. Diese Stelle ist T4 und es kann wohl vom UIAA im 1. Grad gesprochen werden.
