Tourist attractions include the ruins of Tanstein Castle, which serves as a starting point for hikes, and the Dahner Felsenland Trail, where you can marvel at some of the most impressive rock formations in Germany. The Dahn open-air swimming pool is also very popular in warm temperatures.

    Dieser Rundwanderweg ist in vielerlei Hinsicht abwechslungsreich: sanfte Hügel, schroffe Felsen, dichter Wald, Lichtungen sowie offene Landschaft mit Wiesen und Weiden, tolle Aussichten. Die Wege sind überwiegend gut begehbar, wenige Stellen sind schwieriger zu begehen für weniger Geübte. Ein kleiner Teil des Weges war mit grobem Schotter sogar mit festen Wanderschuhen nur sehr unbequem zu begehen. Ansonsten bleibt die Erinnerung an einen tollen Tag mit einer schönen Tour im Gedächtnis haften.

    Vom Parkplatz bei der Wasgau Bäckerei/Café ist nach kurzer Strecke der Anfang des Tracks erreicht. Es geht hinauf zu bizzaren Bundsandsteinfelsformationen. Dieser Track von Wanderfex Günter Weinert bindet die Rabenfelsen mit ein, was beim offiziellen nicht der Fall ist, also unbedingt diesen begehen. Am Schluß kommt man fast wieder direkt am Parkplatz an. Sehr schöner Weg.

    Geniale Variante des Elwetritscheweges im Dahner Felsenland. Das lange Teilstück der Original-Tour durch den Ort wird so vermieden. Eher unbekannte und wenig frequentierte Naturwege und Pädel. Raffiniert auch der Abzweig auf dem Gerstberg von der Original-Tour! Man passiert mehrere eher unbekannte, mächtige Felsgiganten. Eine Tour auf Premiumniveau und ideal, wenn man dem eher größeren Trubel auf den bekannteren Dahner Touren, insbesondere dem Felsenweg ausweichen will.

    Eine tolle Tour die uns angenehm überrascht hat. So viele Felsen und nicht sehr viele Wanderer, abwechslungsreiche Wege und das es nicht so viele Sichten gibt hat nicht gestört. Da wir schon etwas älter sind hat die Dauer von 5 Stunden gepasst. Die Laufrichtung ist für nicht so geübte Wanderer wunderbar, denn am Ende ist es nicht mehr so steil und man kann sich etwas beim Gehen "ausruhen".
