Bridges is known for its impressive bridge structures, which are both historical and modern. One of these sights is the pedestrian bridge over the Glan, which is a popular place for walking or jogging. Another highlight is the railway bridge "Alte Nahebrücke", which is one of the oldest preserved railway bridges in Germany.

For cultural highlights, we recommend a visit to the local history museum as well as the 14th century St. Maria Church. The annual wine festival in summer is also not to be missed!

Culinary Brücken also has a lot to offer: Be sure to try the regional specialities such as Saumagen (stuffed pork stomach) or liver dumplings with sauerkraut.

The best outdoor activities can be enjoyed in Brücken all year round: Hikes through the Palatinate Forest are particularly good in spring and summer, while mountain bike tours are recommended in autumn and winter due to the milder temperatures.

If it does rain, there are still plenty of ways to explore the city: Visit the cinema or relax in one of the cosy cafés.

Where is it most beautiful in Brücken? We recommend a walk through the city park as well as a canoe trip on the Glan - here you can experience the nature and architecture of Brücken particularly well.

Brücken is definitely worth a trip for everyone who is enthusiastic about bridge buildings and also wants to discover something new culturally and culinary. Our Travel Guide offers many more tips for your stay!
