Baiern is located about 30 kilometres east of Munich and is known for its picturesque landscapes. Here you will find rolling hills, wide fields and idyllic forests - perfect for a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. A special highlight is the Egglburger See nature reserve, where you can observe rare bird species or simply relax on the shore.

But there is much more to discover: The historic old town of Ebersberg invites you to stroll around. Admire the magnificent city parish church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary or visit the Museum Wald-und Umweltbildungszentrum (WuZ) to learn more about nature in the region.

Culture enthusiasts should not miss the annual summer festival - here artists of different genres perform on various stages. The traditional Christkindlmarkt at Christmas time is also a must-visit!

And what would a stay in Bavaria be without tasting regional specialities? Be sure to try the famous Weißwurst breakfast or enjoy a cool beer in one of the cosy beer gardens.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the region offers numerous opportunities: Hiking, cycling and horseback riding are particularly popular here. In summer, you can swim in the Egglburger See lake or take a canoe tour on the nearby Glonn river. In winter, ski resorts such as Sudelfeld or Spitzingsee entice you with perfect piste conditions.

Even when the weather is bad, there is plenty to do: Visit the indoor swimming pool in Ebersberg, for example, or take a trip to neighbouring Munich.

Baiern, Ebersberg is definitely worth a trip - discover for yourself where it's most beautiful!

Hat mir auch sehr gut gefallen. Die Gegend ist einfach schön! Vielen Dank!
