Geographically, Achern is located between the Black Forest and the Rhine plains, resulting in a unique landscape. The town is surrounded by forests and has a river called Rench flowing through it. This combination of nature and urbanity makes Achern a perfect destination.

Achern has many tourist attractions such as Rastatt Castle or the historic town hall with its colourful facade paintings. If you are interested in cultural highlights, you should visit the museum in the old town hall or watch a performance in the Bürgerhaus.

For culinary specialities, Achern has numerous restaurants with regional dishes as well as cafés with fresh baked goods and coffee variations - every palate will be spoiled here!

When it comes to outdoor activities, you can go hiking or cycling in the summer months or even canoeing on the Rench. In winter, skiing and snowboarding are available at the nearby Feldberg.

It's raining? No problem! In this case, a visit to the indoor swimming pool Aquafun or the bowling centre Strike Club 2000 is worthwhile - fun guaranteed!

And where is it most beautiful? That depends entirely on which season you choose. In spring, the trees and meadows blossom in the surrounding hills, in summer you can relax by the riverside or go for a hike. In autumn, the forest turns into a sea of colours in shades of red and gold, while in winter everything is covered in snow.

In summary, Achern is definitely worth a trip! This Travel Guide provides you with all the necessary information for a successful stay - from sightseeing to culinary highlights and outdoor activities. We hope we could help you to plan your next trip to Achern!
