From the forest playground at Kaier, you reach Kusseich via the forest nature trail. From here, you have a wonderful view over Ulm to the Vosges and Strasbourg Cathedral. Passing the Waldköple Hut and through the vineyards, you come to Kutzenstein and then gently descend to the Kreuztanne. Then it continues to Pfaffenberg. Here you have a particularly beautiful view over the vineyards and of Kappelrodeck and Waldulm, the well-known wine-growing towns. Through a mixed forest, you reach the Bildstöckelplatz with a modern wayside shrine dedicated to St. Francis.
